Fall has arrived! The leaves are changing colors and the weather is cooler. It’s time to start using your furnaces to stay warm and we want to make sure they work. With the leaves falling on the ground, they could get stuck in the furnace. This will cause the air flow from in and out of your home to be obstructed. Your furnace will not be able to operate to its full potential.

Leaves can stick together and layer in your furnaces intake and exhaust pipe. This could cause it to stop working. To prevent this from happening, make sure to rake up leaves as often as possible and check for clogs every once and a while. Turn off your unit before cleaning it for your safety!
